Anam Cara

Anam Cara is a Taos-based trio that plays Celtic, folk, and original music, including meditative and soulful airs, lively jigs and reels, and spirited vocals. Anam Cara features Julie Hawley on harp and lead vocals; Chris Knox on flutes, whistles, guitar, and accordion; and Jimmie Killingsworth on mandolins and guitar.

The husband & wife duo, Willson & McKee, have been making music and touring for 30+ years! Specializing in traditional Celtic, as well as award winning originals, they juggle multiple instruments and ‘sweetheart’ vocal harmonies. 14 recordings, and awards from the US and Ireland, working with students of all ages in schools across the country, making music together is what the live for!  The emptiness of 2 years without it, makes this opportunity to share music, even MORE wonderful!
